In a world that science is revealing to be connected at every level, the micro and the macro worlds are interdependent. The deeper patterns of thought that dominate current thinking reveal a fundamental disconnectedness. This causes much unnecessary distress in our society. (e.g the 'them and us' syndrome). We seek to help our clients find order beneath the seemingly chaotic environment in which they operate. Our approach goes beyond the systemic, recognising that we cannot completely separate what we do in our local environment from what happens at a national or international level. Whether we intend to or not, we are having an impact wherever we operate. If we want the impact to be positive, we must recognise our true power and use it wisely.
Authenticity and integrity
This value follows naturally from having a holistic approach to life. Shakespeare’s famous words ‘To thine own self be true’ are still incredibly powerful. A lot of energy is wasted when there is dissonance in any system; when things don't quite add up. We cannot give with one arm and take with the other! At a deeper level this is the recognition that we quite literally are each other, as science is showing every more to be the case.
In practical terms it means doing what we say we will do. It also means being true to our conscience: taking the time to know who we are at a deeper level, so that we can live our lives in line with that. This approach to living needs to be built into the fabric of our daily lives. We are deeply committed to walking our talk in this way, so that we can help our clients with integrity.
Sustainable and Life-Affirming
This value also follows on naturally from our value of a holistic and connected approach. If we are so deeply connected to our environment, then our environment is a major stakeholder in any of our decisions. This is not fluffy it is a hard fact. By taking a long term view and considering the impact of current decision on the future, we seek to be proud of what we are able to leave behind to future generations, in terms of our social systems and structures and our natural habitat.
Having said that, we recognise that there are always some systems that need to die just as new systems are emerging. Life is a parallel process of birth and death. There is wisdom in knowing when aspects of a system must take a back stage. Processes, systems and philosophies are only as valuable as their relevance to the bigger context of any challenge. Managing change when old systems are dying can be very painful, both at the individual and the group or systemic level. This is when the bigger picture is most needed. We seek to keep abreast of the emerging concepts in the science and humanities so that we can be well informed to advise our clients of relevant shifts in their environment.

At the core of our philosophy is a belief in the clients genius in their own field. We do everything we can to ensure that our clients have the capacity and courage to meet their own challenges. We seek to empower our clients to use the tools and techniques that enable them to access this genius.
We combine directive and non-directive approaches. At times we will take a consultancy/advisory role, at other times we will be less directive and facilitate the emergence of ideas and wisdom in our clients. Our skill lies in knowing when to direct and when and how to allow the clients genius to emerge.

We are in the human potential industry. We believe in human potential, including our own! Not surprisingly, we have a pioneering spirit and it is out of this that our habit of setting and achieving high standards in our work is constantly being expressed. Our highest aim is to meet our client’s real needs. The challenge which we enjoy meeting is how to introduce the pioneering concepts so that our clients can experience tanglible value added. Although we have our own methods and models and can bring structure, we are not attached to the way we do things. We encourage a co-active approach and consider our clients as partners in our work, regularly seeking feedback from our clients so that we know we are on the right track.

Our approach is necessarily open and transparent. We seek to enable our clients to use all the techniques and skills that they experience during their work on themselves. Our modus operandus is highly transparent.
